BeautifulPeople.com hit the headlines again this week when the world’s most lookist website expelled 3,000 members. Their crime? Ageing ‘ungracefully’.
This mercinary cull sparked a global media debate with everyone from Evening Standard and the Mail Online to Inside Edition and New York Daily News commenting on the mass eviction.
BeautifulPeople.com has been kind in breaking the news to former members. Each has received an email encouraging them to re-apply when they are back looking their best. They are also offering free mentoring with one of the site’s beauty mentors, who have kindly enough volunteered their time to help improve the looks, style and confidence of anyone who wants to join or rejoin the site.

Vodafone has inspired us with its pioneering global maternity policy announced in the run up to International Women’s Day, offering 16 weeks of fully paid leave to all female employees and the ability to work a 30-hour week on full pay for their first six month back in the workplace. And we’re not the only ones. CNN, the BBC and global newspapers have covered the story, with tweets shared around the world by inspiring women from Arianna Huffington to Elizabeth Nyamayaro from UN Women. The Brit Awards 2015
Golden Goose PR loves an excuse to put on our glad rags and dance the night away so we were delighted to attend The Brit Awards on Wednesday night. The team scoffed its way through a meal at Flesh and Buns before heading down to the O2 Arena to watch Kanye West, Paloma Faith and Royal Blood. Our eagle eyes spotted GGPR favourites Kim Kardashian, Lionel Ritchie and Simon Cowell in the audience.
Following on from the show and Madonna’s remarkably well-saved tumble, a few of us headed to the Soho House Pop-Up for the Universal after party to mingle with Mick Jagger, Taylor Swift, Ellie Goulding and Calvin Harris. This sounds like an awful lot of name dropping but it’s only The Brits once a year! Bring on the 2016 awards.

Golden Goose PR this week had a team outing to Game of Thrones: The Exhibition at London’s O2 Arena courtesy of our friends at Stretch Communications.
The team viewed key artefacts from the show, sat on the Iron Throne and even managed to catch a sneak preview of the forthcoming series.
