Good luck to everyone on Cannes Lions shortlist

Golden Goose PR is thrilled to be in Cannes for the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity 2015, and we’re even more delighted to be shortlisted for the Media Relations category for our work with Vodafone Group.

The 30th Anniversary of the UK’s first mobile phone call has been an incredible campaign to work on, involving months of research, eBay purchasing of old phones, an experiential event taking international media back to a retrofitted 1985 store and several short films featuring kids reviewing a 1980s mobile phone, a spoof advert ‘launching’ the first very un-hands-free 11-pound handset and even a photocall with David Hasselhoff.

The campaign from start to finish has been the kind of adventure that allowed us, together with Vodafone’s in-house team, to come up with many creative ways to tell the story of Vodafone’s pioneering history. We hope that anyone looking at the campaign comes away with the same sense of fun, humour, entertainment and discovery that Golden Goose PR and Vodafone Group poured into the creative concepts.
